Highest Degree Earned: MSW
Discipline: Clinical Social Work

I graduated from The University of New Hampshire with honors in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Minor in Criminal Justice. While working in the Graduate School of Social work, in the office Child Welfare Partnership, at Portland State University I returned to school and completed my Masters of Social Work degree at Portland State University in 2007 and became a licensed clinical social worker in 2011. As part of my degree, I had an internship at a domestic violence shelter and an excellent internship providing therapy at the university counseling center called the Student Health and Counseling Center (SHAC) where I was videotaped and regularly critiqued by a panel of professionals. I was invited to stay on at SHAC after graduating as a contracted therapist until I became licensed which was an honor.
