Individual therapy is a self-exploration that inspires personal awareness and wisdom, increasing one’s own capacity to manage negative symptoms. Building self-awareness through the reflective therapeutic processe inspires transformation and lasting change.
It is through relationships that we learn the precise causes and conditions of happiness. In family therapy we work to build trust, understanding and growth. Mindfulness and creativity practices are used to develop a unique sacred space in which family members can authentically and thoughtfully share with one another.
Couples therapy can help you increase communication, reduce conflict, foster mutual respect, and enhance intimacy and companionship. Therapy offers a safe place to speak and be heard in what may be your most important relationship. Couples and marriage therapy is designed to help you solve impasses, listen and communicate more clearly, and understand yourself, your partner, and your relationship more deeply.
Online therapy is the delivery of mental health counseling via the Internet. People also know it as e-therapy, distance therapy, Internet therapy and web therapy. Studies have proven the efficacy of therapy via the internet to the point where it has become a viable alternative and supplement to in-office therapy. There are even people who prefer online therapy. Some clients like to integrate online therapy with in-office visits. For online sessions we use advanced security technology to keep the content of our sessions safe and HIPAA compliant.
In-home therapy is a specialized therapeutic service for those experiencing the loss of a loved one. In the event that the bereaved cannot leave their home or living facility, Dr. Jessica Thomas makes accommodations to come to them.
